Micah believes that the process of counseling should be collaborative and relational. He works closely with each client to better understand their unique experience and needs. He’s passionate about helping teens and young adults explore purpose, relationships, hurts and trauma, and spirituality. Micah also works with clients across the lifespan experiencing anxiety and stress, depression, loss, career or academic challenges, loss of motivation or direction, and issues related to sexuality. Each client is important, and Micah considers it an honor to join you on your journey toward healing, personal growth, and wholeness.

Micah values authenticity and connection and hopes that by believing in his clients they will feel empowered to believe in themselves. With adolescents and teens, Micah is highly effective in working directly with parents to better understand their teen's challenges and what they are going through. When appropriate, Micah also enjoys working with clients who wish to incorporate their faith into counseling.

Micah lives in Cobb County and enjoys sipping tea on his front porch, reading good books, listening to educational podcasts, and playing basketball and tennis. He received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Georgia. Micah is board certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and a pre-licensed counselor under direction and supervision.

A note from Micah —

I’m dedicated to helping you (or your teen) achieve your goals and find peace and meaning in your life. I believe your interest in starting counseling is evidence of your bravery. My hope is that I can support your bravery and walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, health, and discovery.
