Whether you’ve experienced one traumatic event or several, Kelsey Stout works with her clients to practice compassion towards themselves, their bodies, and their mind. Kelsey seeks to help empower her clients and walk alongside them as they no longer allow anxiety, trauma, or difficult experiences to define them or their identity. Specifically, Kelsey has a passion for working with trauma survivors and women postpartum. Kelsey also has experience working with individuals experiencing PTSD, relationship issues, birth trauma, and survivors of abuse. She has specific, advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), providing an evidenced-based framework to help individuals experience healing from traumatic events. When appropriate, Kelsey enjoys working with clients who wish to incorporate their faith into counseling.

In addition to practicing at Atlanta Wellness Collective, Kelsey loves to spend time with her husband and family and watch college football in the fall.

Kelsey received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University with a Certificate in Trauma Counseling. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Kelsey is licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor under supervision and direction. She offers telehealth appointments only.

A note from Kelsey —

I approach counseling from a holistic and integrative approach. The family you grew up in, the resources you had access to, your beliefs, life experiences, and resilience all make up who you are today. I believe it’s crucial that we take all these things into account as we move towards holistic healing and transformation.
