Andrew Quinley has worked with individuals and couples along the lifespan as a teacher, storyteller, mentor, and therapist for 20 years. Growing up in the Caribbean and Asia, he’s sensitive to global cultures and life phases and helps clients discover the resources they possess no matter where they come from or what they’ve faced to get here.

Andrew seeks to help empower his clients and walk alongside them as they no longer allow anxiety, depression, relationship issues and trauma, or difficult experiences to define them or their identity. Specifically, Andrew has a passion for working with couples and families, including parents and teens, desiring stronger relationships. Whether working with adults, teens, couples, or families, he uses a strengths-based approach to uncover what small efforts will make big differences.

Andrew is completing a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. He received a Master of Arts in English from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Lee University. He and his family lived and served in educational and non-profit capacities in Southeast Asia for 14 years before moving to Cobb County.

At Atlanta Wellness Collective, Marriage and Family Therapy Interns are closely supervised by an in-house Clinical Supervisor, which means that you benefit from having multiple counselors whose time and expertise are applied to working with you. Andrew is currently under the supervision of RJ Thaxton, LPC and an AAMFT supervisor at Capella University. Clinical Interns also offer counseling sessions at a significantly reduced rate.

A note from Andrew —

The place you’re at right now is where things can begin to change. That’s true no matter how big, complex, or hopeless your situation seems. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been fighting for years or weeks, when you acknowledge that you’re ready to try something different, a difference is made. Know that you’re in safe company. I’d be honored to work with you to uncover how to use the resources you’ve already got — whether that’s your creativity, your anger, your culture, your resilience, or your relationships with those you care most about.
